Diagnostics and 360 degree feedback can be a catalyst to increased awareness and positive change.
There are times when diagnostics and 360 degree feedback can provide useful information for individuals. Used in coaching, they bring a level of awareness which can greatly facilitate positive change.
I am a registered psychologist, accredited in a number of diagnostics including the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), DiSC and Genos EI.
Selecting a tool depends on the desired outcome of coaching. For example, leaders who do the HBDI typically want to:
- Improve self-awareness, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Gain insight into their own thinking styles and the thinking styles of others.
- Increase their understanding of the importance of working with diversity, bringing out the best in others, optimising performance and business results.
The HBDI can also be experienced as a fun and interactive way within teams to improve communication, collaboration and productivity.
Diagnostics are completed online and participants are provided with a comprehensive report at a debriefing session (1.5 hours).
